Working with dry mixtures in this regard is much simpler: they are bred almost to a liquid state, and therefore it is easy to fill them. In addition, such mixtures dry out several times faster than cement – from 1 to 10 days, depending on the quality. 

Well, the repair of apartments with bulk floors is facilitated to a maximum – self-leveling mixtures are distributed over the surface on their own, forming perfectly level, reliable, durable and durable surface. 

The bulk sex is a special cement mixture that serves not only for alignment, but also for leveling, it is also used as a basis for parquet, laminate, linoleum or tile. The only disadvantage of this material, as you already guessed, is his «biting» price. However, by paying once, we will be able to recall the floors not earlier than in 15-20 years! 

Preparation for screed

Regardless which of the listed screed options you decide to make your own hands, it is necessary to prepare for it as follows:

• Remove the floor covering, remove all boards and steags;
• Remove the overlap plates or the previous screed and clean the underground space using a brush, and then pay off;
• Put on the surface of a polyethylene film with a cleaner with a gap 10-12 cm.;
• so that the screed is not deformed under the possible temperature changes, proof through the perimeter of the walls by damping tape;
• Arrange the guide lighthouses;
• If you are planning a dry tie, for better heat insulation, pour the pad with clay sand;
• If you are going to make a cement fill, for the strength of the design, reinforcement – a special construction metal grid. 

Choosing an outdoor coating
