For example, in Europe there is the following gradation:

• «King-Size» – three-bed;
• «2-bed» – double;
• «1,5-bed» – one-time;
• «1-bed» – single;
• «Children» – Children’s.

Some foreign manufacturers can use the following labeling:

• «Single» – single;
• «Extra Long Single» – one-time;
• «FULL» – double;
• «King Size» – three-sleeping.

Depending on the country, the size of bed linen may differ from the standard by 10-15 cm.

Classification of tissue density (weaving threads)

Tissue density depends on the amount of weave of threads per square centimeter.

By the density of weaving, bed linen is divided as:

• Very high weaving density (130-280 yarns / cm 1/2) – fabrics from gloss-satin and Japanese silk;
• High (85-120 threads / cm 1/2) – Perkal, Chinese silk, satin;
• above average (65-80 yarns / cm 1/2) – Turkish silk and artificial fabric;
• Average (50-65 threads / cm 1/2) – flax and cotton;
• below the average (35-40 threads / cm 1/2) – flax and cotton;
• Low (20-30 threads / cm 1/2) – Batist.

It should be noted that high density significantly prolongs the product life.

Classification by type of fabrics

Packaging of bedding is mandatoryly supplied with labels with a material from which the product is sewn. The main types of fabrics used in the production of linen include such as flax, cotton and silk.

Flax – Differs good thermal conductivity, incredible strength is the most ancient material, characterized by good thermal conductivity, strength and resistance of stretching.

Cotton is strong enough, wearless, as well as possesses good hygienic properties.
Silk (natural) – in combination with good hygienic properties of silk has high elasticity and smoothness.

Bamboo fiber – modern eco-friendly material capable of adjusting the body temperature. Porous fabric structure contributes to the absorption of moisture and the rapid evaporation.

How to care for bed

Having bought bedding before use, it should be loosen. Because it is unknown under what conditions it was stored.
